Have a go at creating your own Japanese Calligraphy Art

During the workshop we will learn the basics about Japanese Calligraphy (Kanji), including

- materials and equipment

- correct posture

- holding and loading the brush

- basic strokes

- importance of stroke order

- we will practice a kanji, selected by you from a predetermined list, before creating a final piece

Two options are possible:

(1) Kaisho (block) Script

(2) Seal Script

At the end of the workshop you will have your own piece of Japanese Calligraphy art.
